About This Course

As a youth leader, you’re likely energized by teaching, leading, and discipling the teenagers in your care. However, over time you’ll discover that this also includes both serving and working with their families and your broader church community. You may feel awkward or anxious as you try to support families and the challenges they’re going through, but you’re not alone. In this course, Cultivating a Discipleship Community, you’ll learn practical ways to come alongside parents and families as partners in discipling their teens. Experts from Fuller Youth Institute, Dr. Kara Powell and Dr. Andy Jung, will share their research and experience as they guide you through the Growing With parenting approach and the Growing Young core commitments. These insights will help you cultivate the communities teenagers need in order to thrive as whole people in this season of their lives and beyond.
